Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to the details you send me through this website.
Last updated 6 November 2026
Who is responsible for your details
This website belongs to me, Phil Vickery, and I am responsible for the personal information you send through it. You can contact me about anything in this notice at [email protected].
What I collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, organisation and email address, and anything else you choose to add, such as a phone number, event details, a budget or your message.
This website does not use cookies, advertising or tracking.
What I use it for
To reply to your enquiry and, if we go ahead, to arrange the work. I will not add you to a mailing list or sell your details. If your enquiry is about a speaking booking, I may share it with my agent at the Gordon Poole Agency so they can help arrange it.
The law lets me do this because I have a legitimate interest in answering people who get in touch, and because an enquiry can be the first step towards an agreement between us.
Where your details go
- The form sends your enquiry to my email inbox. It is not saved on the website.
- To keep out spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person is using the browser. Cloudflare describes what it collects in its privacy policy.
- To stop the form being flooded, the website keeps a scrambled version of your internet (IP) address for one hour, then discards it.
- Like most websites, the server keeps standard access logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for a short time for security.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for up to 2 years after we were last in touch, then delete them. If an enquiry becomes a booking or partnership, I keep the details for as long as the law requires for business records.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of the details I hold about you, and ask me to correct or delete them, or to stop using them. Email [email protected] and I will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your details, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
